Short story

In the Ordovician period, one day just walking 21 hours and more carbon dioxide than the 21st century, prompting Nigel to use a bag of medical equipment like oxygen cylinders.
To lure Megalograptus, Nigel found a dead Astraspis stranded on the beach. Because there is no life on land, there is no creature that can eat everything beaches issued by the sea.
Not long after, Nigel entered the shallow waters and is inviting the attention Megalograptus Astraspis great. Megalograptus tearing Astraspis, before attacking Nigel leg, badly scratched.
Then, Nigel chose to seek Cameroceras, by replacing the eye of the carcass Isotelus with a small video camera. He then used the camera to see into the water, after he melampar trilobites / video camera from the boat. A Cameroceras immediately attracted to her, Nigel and the cameraman to record Cameroceras dive was awesome. During the dive, Nigel wear protective clothing, so the approaching Megalograptus can not hurt.
Cameroceras more agile in the sea than Nigel, and Nigel when Cameroceras approached, he drove with a flashlight, then Nigel holding shells. When Cameroceras started toward the depths, Nigel swim to the surface.
When Nigel control the boat to the coast, he found a surprise: a large number of mating Megalograptus along the coast. Nigel tries through the Megalograptus safely, but the damage inflatable boat Megalograptus.

When Nigel walked across the tropical coast Triassic Switzerland, he explained that reptiles have mastered the air (eg Peteinosaurus), also on land (eg Coelophysis). But of course, she's here to see the first marine reptiles.
From the deck Ancient Mariner, Nigel and his crew saw Nothosaurus take the air at the surface. When he saw them, Nigel dive into the ocean, chasing the marine reptiles.
Much later, Nigel meemukan Nothosaurus pair. Both Nothosaurus it around it, and Nigel with his weapon ready to repel Nothosaurus who come too close. One Nothosaurus moved closer, and Nigel shocked her with electric batons. Nothosaurus it away, and Nigel find other fascinating marine reptiles: a Tanystropheus.
Nigel followed Tanystropheus, and want to see it closer to holding the tail, restricting his movements. But, Tanystropheus decide its tail, like a modern lizard. Nigel can hold the tail was only with difficulty, because the tail is slammed in all directions (to deceive predators). Then tail off and eaten by Cymbospondylus.
Cymbospondylus began around Nigel, and he explained that the slow movement was used to deceive their prey, and if needed he can move quickly. After a shocked her with the tools, the Cymbospondylus swim away, and Nigel back to safety in the Mariner.

In diving this time, members of the crew other Mariner (Mike) record Dunkleosteus large females, swimming around the shallow reefs near the Ancient Mariner. The crew springs into action, while Nigel Bothriolepis fishing. Nigel betting on another crew that can tear Bothriolepis Dunkleosteus wrapped protective clothing that he used in the Ordovician age. When the shark cage is finished installed, Nigel entering. The smell of carrion Bothriolepis began to attract the attention of young Stethacanthus. However, Dunkleosteus looks horrible, and the fish amok is trying to attack the cage with his hard head, and he seemed to want to punch the cage ...

Fortunately, only a little damage to the fish cage.
Then, Nigel Bothriolepis throw out the cage, and protective clothing and tearing Dunkleosteus Bothriolepis. Dunkleosteus lurk males, the females turn into cannibals and killed him. He then vomited undigested parts of food (steel coating and protective clothing).
When Nigel towards the surface, he explained that the placoderm will have a bleak future. Twenty million years from now, the entire Class Placoderm will disappear, common fate with other Devonian fish.

When walking in mangroves Giza, Nigel pass some mysterious footprints and mounds of fresh dirt. Following these, Nigel met a Arsinotherium migrate across the land. Nigel took a big risk and offered the fruit-eating an apple, but he was actually surprised the Arsinotherium so that the animal attacking Nigel. With the refuge in the leafy trees, Nigel can escape from that of mammals. Nigel Arsinotherium attention that goes into the water from the lush forest, and followed him. In the water, Nigel saw three tails Dorudon passing, but no sign of Basilosaurus.
Ancient Mariner sailed offshore, where the crew tried tactics to attract the attention of the pope who has long been used but it proved successful, namely: voice recording and play back calls Basilosaurus with great speakers from the bottom of the vessel. After playing a while, a Basilosaurus raging toward the boat before diving again. Without wasting - wasting time, Nigel wear diving and diving. However, Basilosaurus can strike from any direction, so Nigel Mariner closer to the hull, using the ship as a shield to protect it from Basilosaurus. Basilosaurus again approached by a call from the speakers and attacking and damaging the speaker (described as a territorial attitude).
When the Ancient Mariner sailed track of time, Nigel explained that the Eocene tropical world is in danger of climate change. At the advent of Oligocene, Basilosaurus, Arsinotherium, and Dorudon will disappear, as the victim of climate change that ended the Eocene period, change the warm waters into the cold ocean.
